Easy Whole Wheat Beer Bread
Ingredients
- 3 cups whole wheat flour
- 4½ tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
- 3 tbsp barley malt syrup at room temperature
- 1 12-ounce beer
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350° F. Grease 9-inch loaf pan.
- In large mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt. Add syrup and beer. Mix until everything is combined and forms into a dough. Dough will be lumpy and moist.
- Transfer dough into prepared loaf pan and spread evenly. Bake 45 to 60 minutes until top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted into center of the loaf comes out clean.
- Serve warm.
